Martine Extermann, MD, is a professor of oncology and medicine at the University of South Florida and program leader in the senior adult oncology program at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. She has been presented with the B.J. Kennedy Award for Scientific Excellence in Geriatric Oncology from the American Society of Clinical Oncology in 2009. Dr. Extermann’s primary research is focused on cancer in older patients.
